Greenwich Country Club

Greenwich Country ClubLocated in the distinguished neighborhood of Greenwich, CT the Greenwich Country Club is the premier Private Country Club in the Northeast. Founded in 1892, as the Fairfield County Golf Club, the Greenwich Country Club is a first-class, family-oriented Private Club that offers a full range of amenities including our elite 18-hole golf course, driving range, racquets courts (tennis, squash and paddle), swimming pool and the area's finest dining and social facilities. Under the enthusiastic leadership of Julian W. Curtis (1858 - 1944), first President of the newly chartered organization, the club grew from a five-hole backyard endeavor to a code of peaceful knolls in excess of 165 acres.  From a charter membership numbering thirty two, the club has grown to 650 members and includes an international roster of members from as far away as Europe, South America and the Far East. Our private Clubhouse serves as a focal point of activity for our Members and exhibits the qualities of elegance and tradition that emphasize classic country club architecture.

Over the years, the Club has enjoyed an exemplary reputation for its beautiful grounds, genteel atmosphere and the professionalism and friendliness of its staff. Governed by a Board of members and managed by a team of experienced and knowledgeable professionals, the Greenwich Country Club has been host to world leaders of business, finance and government as well as the most prominent names in Greenwich, Connecticut and the Nation.

The Charles Evans PCF Tour would like to thank the Greenwich Country Club, the tennis committee, the tennis club, Hugh Underhill and Rafael Vieira for the wonderful offer, to host one of the tour event pro/am's at the Greenwich Country Club. The PCF Tour looks forward with great excitement and anticipation to a fantastic weekend of tennis and entertainment.
